It is so great to see ideas multiplied and people united around a common environmental cause in the 6 partnering communities under our project. We painted the world green and clean for World Environment Day 2022

We went on an eco-trip to the "Byala Reka"eco-path in the "Central Balkan"National Park together with young people from Karlovo and Zlatitsa. Over 50 youing people from Karlovo, Zlatitsa and Kalofer joined the eco-trip.
Our hosts from the National Park gave a lecture to the young people about the history of the park and the biodiversity in it.
We organised a clean-up along the eco-path finding out with great pleasure that there was almost no rubbish despite the thousands of tourists visiting the eco-path weekly.
The young environmental saviors varnished the arbour at the foot of the eco-path so it can be preserved for the future. They also received info leaflets about the centuries-old beech trees in the park and T-shirts with the logo of the park to remind them of this great walk and made them want to come again!
The Romanian Team from SAKURA NGO promoted environmental education for young people in Ilfov County in three events.
First one in Buftea Highschool: "Barbu A. Stirbey"-among 40 young people and 12 ESC volunteers
Second one in Ilfov County: Dragomiresti - Vale Highschool: "Vintilă Brătianu" for 50 young people and 12 ESC volunteers
Third event again in Ilfov County-Ciorogarla playing their environmental awareness-raising board game with over 85 young people and 12 ESC volunteers.
The Romanian Team from Association" Mod of Life" organised an environmental awareness workshop for 15 young people + a clean-up of a rural area around Drobeta Turnu Severin combining it with a hiking trip for MOVE WEEK 2022
The Greek partner organised a creative environmental awareness workshop teaching young people how they can transform old T-shirts into new trendy outfits thus teaching them sustainable consumption and lowering the levels of clothes waste and pollution.
The Cypriot partner organised a beach clean up in Limassol "feeding" the fish-shaped plastic bottles bins with the gathered plastic bottles raising awareness that we should keep the seas, rivers and oceans clean of rubbish.
The Serbian partner organised an environmental awareness-raising workshop among nature discussing global and local environmental problems and planning local environmental actions.
