Local Activities for Car Free Day and Mobility Week 2022

For Car Free Day(22 September) and Mobility Week (23-30 September)we organised the activity "Let's all bike, walk to school and work" in the village of Vedrare. Over 50 kids and youth were involved.

The Romanian partner "Mod of Life" organised a marathon in Drobeta Turnu Severin's park fostering healthy mobility among nature reaching out to over 100 young people.

The Greek partner"Delta Youth" NGO promoted Car Free Day in the Cosmos Studies school carrying out an open lesson with the students, discussing the benefits of going to school/work by bike instead of cars, organising some interactive games and competition for the students.

The Romanian partner "SAKURA NGO organised educational several awareness raising activities for Car Free Day.

In partnership with #FTMB they organized organized the event "Sa pedalam liber" in Bucharest promoting our project in the big Youth Centre in Bucharest.

They also had an educational awareness raising sessions with students in the "Pamfil Seocaru" HighSchool in Ciorogarla and the "Barbu Stirbey" High School in Buftea.

The Cyprus partner" Blue Cherry Academy for Youth and Adults" organised a bike-ride along Limassol coastal lane promoting green mobility and celebrating Car Free Day together with other local sport clubs and youth NGOs.

We celebrated Car Free Day together with the Serbian Partner during the study visit in Vrnjacka Banja, Serbia with a bike ride along the town.
