We encourage participants to attend as many sessions as possible. Showing up regularly gives the group time to build trust, familiarity, and connection, but we understand that school, placement, work, and life can make schedules unpredictable.
Come as you are.
Bring your questions, your experiences, and your curiosity.
We are currently inviting:
Upper-year BSW and graduate-level MSW social work students to participate in these facililated group meetings that provide opportunities to connect, debrief and learn form one another.
Recent graduates and early-career social workers interested in helping us understand what meaningful peer and debriefing support should look like as people enter the profession
We are also seeking Black, Indigenous and racialized social workers, students, and recent graduates to help shape the COP by consulting with the project team before and during the project. If you have experience (positive or negative) with other professional communities or endeavours, the project team is interested in speaking with a limited number of project consultants about how to make this COP inclusive and relevant for everyone.
If you wish to act as a consultant to this project, please email socialwork.COP@gmail.com
Thank you!
