PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING:

The project management diagram comprises of what is the estimated time for the construction of the structure right from starting with the foundation to getting up till the plinth level, building up the load bearing walls

The site comprises of various programs such as some convenience stores, a clinic and Nursing home, a daycare, community hall, temple, vyamshala and a temple and public toilets.

Site Strategy:

The larger intent of the project is focused on how the programs have a common wall which has these extensions and projections which becomes an interactive space/ gathering space. The programs are planned and placed in such a way that the essential shops are placed at the periphery and the quiet space (placed at the edges) are porous yet have a sense of confindeness. The programs also have a level above the ground comprising of the viewing decks which make the space more engaging with the surroundings.

The main element is the wall which has affordances such as seatings, extensions serving the purpose of a stage. The varying heights of the wall also defines the openness or intimacy of a space. When the user enters the space an experience of entering from a more narrow space to an open space arises. The wall also has niches which inspite of having a boundary also merges with the surroundings.
