Over the past four modules, you’ve learned how to:
Script and plan short, conversational videos.
Record with confidence using simple, accessible tools.
Add captions to make your videos inclusive and ADA compliant.
Think strategically about where and how video presence can make the biggest impact for students.
The goal is to build connection. Short, authentic, and accessible videos help students feel supported, engaged, and connected to their instructor.
Now it's your turn to reflect on what you've learned and consider how you'll apply it. For your final activity:
Write a short post (4–6 sentences) sharing one or two specific ways you plan to use video in your own courses.
Example: weekly check-ins, module introductions, assignment feedback, or personal course announcements.
Share your reflection in the discussion board (or Padlet) space provided.
Read at least one peer’s post and leave a supportive comment or suggestion.
Keep experimenting with video in small, low-pressure ways.
Try adding one short video to your next module or assignment.
Use your reflections and peer feedback to guide how you integrate video into future teaching.
