Information contained on this website is provided for general information about BuildFusion and our services.
We aim to keep information accurate and current. However, website information should not be treated as a final quotation, technical specification, construction advice or contractual commitment.
Photographs and examples are intended to demonstrate the nature or style of services unless expressly identified as a particular completed BuildFusion project.
Customers may submit a Free Quote Request through our website.
Submitting a quotation request:
Does not create a construction contract;
Does not require BuildFusion to accept the project;
Does not guarantee availability;
Does not guarantee a particular price;
Does not constitute acceptance of a quotation.
We may contact you to obtain additional information before preparing a quotation.
This may include requesting photographs, measurements, drawings, plans, tile specifications or arranging a site inspection.
Any preliminary price discussed by telephone, email, message or through the website may be indicative only unless confirmed in a formal written quotation or agreement.
Final pricing may depend on matters including:
Project dimensions
Site conditions
Existing substrate
Tile type and dimensions
Tile pattern or layout
Preparation requirements
Demolition or tile removal
Screeding requirements
Waterproofing requirements
Access to the work area
Stairs or difficult access
Parking
Material requirements
Waste disposal
Required timeframe
Additional work discovered during the project
A quotation will generally specify the work included in the quoted price.
Unless expressly included, work outside the agreed scope may attract additional charges.
A quotation is not considered accepted merely because it has been viewed.
Acceptance may require confirmation through the method specified in the quotation, such as written acceptance, electronic acceptance, payment of an agreed deposit, execution of an applicable contract, or another agreed method.
Where legislation requires a particular form of contract or documentation, the applicable legal requirements take precedence.
A quotation may remain valid only for the period stated in that quotation.
After the validity period expires, BuildFusion may review pricing due to changes in:
Material costs
Labour costs
Supplier pricing
Availability
Project scope
Site circumstances
Other relevant costs
Where no validity period is specified, customers should confirm current pricing before proceeding.
Where a quotation is based on information supplied by the customer without a physical site inspection, the price may be subject to confirmation after the site is inspected or accurately measured.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information when requesting a quotation.
Material differences between the information provided and actual site conditions may require a revised quotation or variation.
Before work begins, the parties should have a clear understanding of the agreed scope.
The scope may identify:
Areas to be tiled
Tile type and dimensions
Preparation requirements
Demolition requirements
Waterproofing
Screeding
Grouting
Silicone work
Materials supplied by BuildFusion

Work not included in the agreed scope is not automatically included in the original price.
During renovation or construction work, unexpected conditions may sometimes be discovered after work begins.
Examples may include:
Damaged substrates
Uneven surfaces
Existing water damage
Inadequate previous installation
Unexpected demolition requirements
Additional preparation
Structural or substrate issues
Changes requested by the customer
Where practical, additional work or variations will be discussed with the customer before proceeding.
Additional work may result in additional costs and changes to the project timeframe.
Any mandatory legal requirements regarding variations will continue to apply.
Where customers supply tiles or other materials, they are responsible for ensuring sufficient quantities are available and that the products are appropriate for the intended use, unless otherwise agreed.
We recommend allowing appropriate additional quantities for:
Cutting
Breakage
Pattern matching
Future repairs
Wastage
Delays caused by insufficient, damaged, incorrect or unavailable customer-supplied materials may affect the project schedule and potentially result in additional costs.
Customers acknowledge that tiles and natural materials may vary in:

Natural stone and some manufactured tiles may contain inherent variations.
BuildFusion cannot guarantee absolute visual uniformity where variations are inherent to the supplied product.
Renovation work can involve existing surfaces and structures that were not installed by BuildFusion.
We cannot guarantee the condition of concealed substrates, waterproofing, plumbing, structural elements or previous workmanship before those areas become accessible.
If an unexpected issue is discovered, we will discuss the situation with the customer where appropriate before additional work proceeds.
The customer must provide reasonable access to the work area at agreed times.
Where appropriate, this may include access to:
Electricity
Water
Work areas
Parking or loading areas

Customers should ensure that the work area is reasonably accessible and that personal belongings are removed or appropriately protected before work begins.
Any proposed commencement or completion date is based on the information available at the time.
