Purpose
"As a state, we must prepare youth to not only survive financially, but to build an economically stable and thriving life, even when emergencies arise. Everyday, we maneuver through situations that force us to re-evaluate our priorities and adjust our national, state, local, and personal budgets. Youth across the nation need to know the value of money, and how to divert those funds towards savings, investments, and other avenues. We cannot wait to have this conversation. To equip our youth with an understanding of personal finance, we must use legislative and collaborative means to increase financial literacy nationwide."
