"Being at Builders’ has taught me that curiosity is good. You encouraged me to ask questions. You told me that it’s okay to make mistakes and to not be discouraged by them. You showed me that it’s okay not to know everything. Because of you, I learned to look at things from different angles. You encouraged me to explore and to think out of the box....
With each passing year, I realized that Builders’ has been building me up and preparing me for the future. Now that my last year at Builders’ has come to an end, I realize that it is not possible for me to truly move on from Builders’. It is already too big of a part of who I am and who I am becoming. The Builders’ family has been such a huge part of my life. This place is where I met some of my closest friends. Here, I built friendships that will hopefully stand the test of time.
The Builders’ community is my second family. The students are happy, friendly, and curious children. The teachers and staff are some of the most caring, fun, cool, and kind mentors I could ever have. Years ago, you accepted me into your loving, tight-knit, little but diverse family. Even with all my shortcomings, you never judged me. In turn, this has taught me to accept other people as well. You helped me to build my courage, my confidence, my spirit, and the core of who I am. You taught me to be aware of and to take care of my community and my surroundings. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this Family. I am honored and proud to be able to call myself a Builder.
