ARTS ON THE WIRE

An Online Forum to Stay Creatively Engaged & Connected

FIRST TIME HERE? READ THIS FIRST

Dear Arts Academy Students & Family,

We are writing this note to you from our homes so that you can receive it in yours. We know there is a lot of change happening quickly, and at times it can be very confusing. In an effort to connect us back to our ARTS community, we wanted to offer you this site as a way to stay connected.

We have been building this site for you as a way to create a sense of place in the absence of classrooms, the gallery, studios, stages, classrooms, and hallways. This is a place where we can stay engaged and creatively connected.

This Place belongs to you and is meant to inspire all of us to collectively reimagine how we create and share; which is at the heart of our ARTS community.

We want to share what you have been creating, we want to hear your thoughts about this site, we want to connect and create with you! Make sure to submit your work and contact us directly if you have any questions.

And remember, you can always find updates and resources on our School Website and the District Website.

Creatively committed,

The Student Editors of Arts on the Wire

THIS BLOG BELONGS TO YOU!

Writing can be deeply therapeutic. It can be a way to express our fears, hopes, and joys. It can help us make sense of the world and our place in it.

*AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM BAVPA!

"In these difficult times of social distance it’s hard not to feel alone sometimes. Your family at BAVPA created a video to remind you that even though we aren’t physically with you right now, we are right by your side and here for you if you need us. You can count on us because we’re all in this together :)"

-Ms. Lyons

We miss you!

We hope you are safe!

We want to hear from you!!
