Themes

The first theme I made for Retropie, done in Spring 2015. I was still learning the syntax for XML back then. So the coding is not the best. I personally haven't updated it in a while, but it is still functional.

This was simply an edit of a theme done by a fellow designer, named Rookervik. I changed up the layout a bit from his version. Also added a basic Grid View to it (seen above)

This is still one of my favorites that I've done. I still think it looks nice, even today. Very simple, but clean theme. There is also a dark theme. (Both shown above.) Plan to update theme where both are combined into one.

My first stab at a "modern" looking theme. Backgrounds are user replaceable.

Modeled after the interface used for the Nintendo Switch system. Light and Dark variants. This is the first theme where I experimented with system variables. (System variables eliminated the need for each supported system to have it's own folder.)

My most recent, Spring 2019. I was bringing my custom arcade cabinet into school to show to the game dev class and wanted to make a new theme for the occasion.

Color theme also available (Nintendo red, Sega blue, etc.)
