Budget Tracker is designed with a privacy-first approach.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or store your personal financial data on our servers.
All budgeting records, expenses, income entries, categories, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
We do not intentionally collect analytics, usage tracking data, or personal identifiers.
Certain technical information may be temporarily made available by the operating system or app marketplace (such as crash diagnostics handled by Android/Google Play systems), which is governed by those providers' own policies.

Because data is stored locally, your information is primarily used on-device to:
Display budgets and reports

We do not use your personal data for advertising profiles or third-party marketing.

We do not sell or share your personal budgeting data with third parties.
Data may only be shared when you explicitly initiate an action, including:
Exporting reports/files

Sending bills, receipts, or selected content to your personally configured third-party AI/API provider

If you connect your own AI model or third-party API subscription, any data sent through that connection is authorized by you and governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. Budget Tracker is not responsible for billing, subscriptions, data handling, availability, outputs, or transactions related to third-party AI/API services selected by the user.
Since most data is stored locally on your device, retention is controlled by you.
You may delete entries, clear app data, uninstall the app, or remove exported files at any time subject to your device settings.
We do not maintain central cloud copies of your budgeting data.
We use reasonable safeguards within the app environment. However, because data is stored locally, device security is also your responsibility, including use of screen locks, backups, and device protections.
No device or software environment is 100% secure.
Your data may be processed in countries different from your own. We take reasonable steps to protect transferred data.
Depending on jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

Budget Tracker is not directed to children under 13 (or applicable minimum age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If advertisements are included in certain versions of the App, ad providers may operate under their own privacy terms. Budget Tracker itself does not sell your budgeting data.
Where applicable, we or partners may use SDKs, local storage, identifiers, and similar technologies for analytics, login persistence, and functionality.
Users may delete their account through in-app settings where available or by contacting support.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes may be notified within the App.
This App may request permissions only when necessary for features such as notifications, storage export/import, or receipt scanning.
The App does not intentionally collect unnecessary sensitive financial credentials such as banking passwords.
