My iPhone 11 Pro had the old Apple supplied Bubble Live wallpaper on the lock screen. It is the LIVE wallpaper that looked similar to the iPhone XS box top photo. I was curious to see what the new iOS 13 Live wallpaper looked like so I went into Settings -> Wallpaper and set one of the new wallpapers just to see what it looked like.

Yes, I see Dynamic, Stills and Live. I have searched all three and I do not find the Live Bubble wallpaper that first appeared in iOS 12 / iPhone XS (or was it iOS 11 / iPhone X?). Dynamic has 14 wallpapers, Live has 4 wallpapers and Stills has 22. I also have access to my Photos library.

Perhaps Apple just completely removed it from iOS 13 Settings -> Wallpaper, but it was somewhere on my iPhone: prior to me going to Settings->Wallpaper and choosing a new one, it was on, my Lock Screen Live

OK I like to think that I am getting better at making miniatures until no matter what I do I seem to get bubbles in the wallpaper . They go on perfectly smooth and they look fantastic all nice and dry and just wonderful. Weeks go by and voila bubbles appear !!! I sand and sand and prime and prime and sand again and use the whole credit card thing to smooth out the whole thing. I use the wallpaper paste I get form my miniature store and the only paper that does not give me grief is the heavier almost vinyl stock wallpaper. So much has it irritated me that I have given up on the thinner wallpaper all togther ! Any help would be great I am so thankful that I have a place to ask, thanks so much everyone ! Just goes to show you that I have way too much to learn but I have to be nice to myself cause I have only been at it for three years . I am my own worst critic .

Brandaen, I think it is Wolfie/Gina who irons her wallpaper onto a light cardstock using the fusible fabric stuff. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like a good idea to me. My very first house, the Orchid, is suffering from bubbles in the livingroom wallpaper that didn't appear until months afterward and seem to be getting worse. One day it needs to be redone.

Would humidity cause the bubbling? Where I live the air is dry and I've not experienced problems with bubbling. I, too, use miniature wallpaper paste (always). I just smooth the paper on using a damp sponge. I've checked rooms that I papered years ago and still don't have any bubbling. As I've not got any special tricks, I'm just wondering if humidity might affect the dry paper.

I have had the bubbling problem when the houses were first put in the basement, and we did not have the fan on, to keep the air circulating down there. The bubbles are indeed caused by the humidity/dampness in the air. The fan is always on now, and it doesn't happen.

This is so strange. I didnt know that months can go by and then bubbles appear. Wouldnt the paste my completely dry by then? I live Florida and the humidity is really bad. Im worried that if I ever have to move my houses or they without AC for a while, the wallpapers might bubble up too. I hope your able to fix this problem.

I did some googling of diy websites and it seems that wallpaper gets bubles if the paste is applied too thick, too thin or the paper is not left to size after paste applied. If the bubbles are discovered a day or so after the paper is applied you can cut a tiny slit in it and squeeze out excess paste, gently apply more paste as the case maybe. doesn't seem to be anny solution if the paper wasn't allowed to shrink back to size before applying. Be sure to apply paste evenly and use the crdit card to smooth the paper after applying to wall. Smmothing shoudl be done from the center out. Information says bubles can appear up to a year later. Thanks everyone for the great help !! I am just going to give up on flimsy wallpaper in Florida lol ! The thicker wallpaper has no problems at all even after a year in storage. Because my work area is in a renovated garage I am thinking temp and humidity are killing my work as well as my hair lol. It is really expensive for me to leave the air conditioner on all the time. Maybe one day I can move into the house. The funny thing is that my damprid helps and keeps most humditiy out. so The other dollhouses are just fine .

I recently had a similar issue with bubbles appearing after the paper was applied. I smoothed everything out, it looked great, and the next day there were bubbles. Seemed worse with the (thin) scrapbook paper that I used in two rooms than the wallpaper in the two other rooms, but the wallpaper did bubble a little bit, too. My workspace is in the basement and it isn't very damp - we don't live in a humid area - but maybe there's something about the cool air down there?

I let a blob of playdoh dry out for a few days, till it's rock hard, then stick it in one of the houses, if there's not enough air circulating, within 2 days the playdoh becomes soft and sticky again. The same thing happens to the glue on the back of the wallpaper, it can reabsorb moisture, and be wet again, so sticking a small pin in the bubble, and re-smoothing out the paper with a dry cloth, fixes the problem. It worked for me anyway.

I use to stick bubbles with a straight pin and gently smooth with an old soft t shirt when I did wallpapering in my real house. In my old 1831 house there were bumps and cracks, totally uneven walls and that method usually straightened it out. I also injected a tiny bit of wallpaper paste into a bubble area and smoothed it out if it didn't seem to be sticking to the wall but you have to be careful not to use too much. I also used plain old Elmers glue to fix some of them and they eventually laid down and behaved.

Thanks so much for the great replies, I am going to run a test of both glue stick and real live wallpaper glue and see which one works the best. It will be my little experiment for the next few weeks and I will have to let everyone see my findings . I am sadly very much in love with vinyl style DH wallpaper because it goes on so well, leaves no bubbles, and hides defects in wood so darn well !! While we are on the subject of wallpaper, does anyone have any recommendations where to purchase (affordable) wallpaper online? Prepasted or not? I would love to print my own but my printer does not print very well.

I live in very hot, very humid Kentucky. I checked my houses and none of them have any bubbled wallpaper. I don't know if this made the difference, but I have ALWAYS applied my wallpaper with plain white glue watered down to a nice consistency. You just sort of know when it's there. Anyway, you might want to try it. I know Holly also mentioned using this method. I like it because it works great (at least it has for me), it is easy to keep what you need on hand (if you run out you can go to any 24 hour walmart or grocery and get more), and because it is cheap.

My iron is my friend and wonder under is my bestest friend! But if you already have the paper up and there are bubbles, you can use a technique that they use in real life. You can puncture the bubbles with a common pin and press the air out, and that might work for you. If the bubbles are larger, you can make a cut with an X-acto knife and press the air out, then with a fine needle apply some glue to the edges of the cut and press in place. This also works.
