Phase 1: Receiving is the believer’s first step into intentional training. Just as new recruits are issued essential gear before instruction begins, this phase equips believers with the foundational tools, mindset, and readiness needed to move forward. Receiving helps establish identity, responsibility, and awareness, recognizing that spiritual growth does not happen accidentally, but through structure, discipline, and engagement with God’s Word.
This phase includes three foundational classes. Gear Up focuses on tools and supplies—learning how to create a personal training environment, eliminate distractions, and use modern resources wisely while recognizing that the primary weapon is the Word of God. Uniform Issue walks believers through the Armor of God, teaching not only what each piece represents but how it is worn daily as part of one’s identity in Christ. Weapons Training teaches believers how the Bible is structured, how to navigate it confidently, and how to begin using Scripture effectively rather than passively. Together, these classes ensure that before a believer advances further into training, they are properly equipped, oriented, and ready to move forward with clarity and purpose.
