Some practical information

The workshop will take place at the humanities campus, called 'Ramon Llull' (building number 4 of this map: https://www.uib.eu/With-you/Location/Campus-de-la-UIB/Buldings/). This is part of the broader campus which can be located here: https://www.uib.eu/With-you/Location/Campus-de-la-UIB/ (the address is: Cra. de Valldemossa, km 7.5. 07122 Palma). 

ACCOMODATION: Given its location the best option for accommodation would be to get a hotel or AirBnb in Palma, as the campus is quite isolated. If you decide to get a place in Palma, here are two important things:

A) There are a few ways of reaching the university: https://www.uib.eu/With-you/Location/Campus-de-la-UIB/Transport/ . Our recommendation is to take the underground service, as it is the most straight forward since the line goes from Palma to the University and back. 

B) When booking accommodation make sure to get a spot near the public transport system so you can get to the university. For example, if you decide to get the underground, you should stay at some place near the following location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/b3b2jewouzErxMKu5 (for example, this hotel is extremely nearby and well connected to get any kind of service to the airport: https://maps.app.goo.gl/4y9dYU9CeC1ZeCbx9). You can always send us the accommodation you've selected so I can confirm with you that it is a good option location-wise. Nevertheless, Palma is a relatively small city so many locations can be ideal for you. 

The closest (and only reasonable airport) is in Palma de Mallorca. 

Regarding the last day of the conference, we will in fact have a space (the same as the workshop) to participate in all the talks and activities, so you're more than welcome to attend everything from there. If you prefer doing it from the comfort of your own hotel room, that is also an option. Whatever suits you best.
