The Player Clinic is on Friday, May 1st at the Metra EXPO Center.
U12 clinic is from 4:00pm - 5:45pm
U14-U18 clinic is 6:00-8:00pm.
Cost for the clinic is $45
This clinic will be run by Patty Langanis, Kiahna Vernon (Steiner) and Andi Asay along with help from top coaches and college players around the area. The Director of the Clinic is Coach Patty Langanis
The Illinois Volleyball Coaches Association recognized Patty Langanis as a Class of 2025 Hall of Fame Inductee. She built a legacy of excellence at Cary-Grove High, and the IHSA recently recognized Cary-Grove as one of the top 26 volleyball programs in the state over the past 50 years. Under her leadership, Cary-Grove achieved 730 victories, including a 2009 IHSA Class 4A state championship. In 2010 and 2011, the Trojans had back-to-back state runner-up finishes, followed by a third-place finish in 2016.
Coach Langanis was a 3 sport athlete at Sturgis High School in Michigan where she has been selected to the Sturgis High Hall of Athletic Fame. Coach Langanis went on to have a very success playing career at the University of Iowa.
Coach Langanis is also the founder of Balance Volleyball Club out of Chicago, Illinois. She has brought many teams out to the VolleyFest.
Co-Director for Player Clinic is Coach Kiahna (Steiner) Vernon
Kiahna has been playing volleyball for 20 years and coaching for the last 9.
She finished her career Billings Senior High with State Championship and a 32-0 senior season playing with her best friends. She competed at Utah Valley University from 2013-2016.
After college, she joined the coaching staff at Timpview High School before moving to St. George, Utah. She is now and has been an assistant coach at Desert Hills High School (2025 State Champs) for 3 years now.
Co-Director for Player Clinic is Coach Andi Asay
Andi Asay is a former All-Conference collegiate volleyball player and member of the 1,000 Kills Club who also competed on the College National Team. Her playing career was defined by discipline, consistency, and leadership, qualities she now instills in the athletes she coaches.
As a coach, Andi has helped lead two high school volleyball programs to state championships in under three years each. She is passionate about building competitive, mentally tough teams rooted in accountability and preparation.
Her coaching philosophy is simple: Hard Work = Consistency = Confidence = Success
Andi is committed to developing athletes who compete with purpose, elevate those around them, and perform at their highest level both on and off the court
We are excited to welcom Coach Robert Cagle and his team to our event. Coach Cagle is the Vice President of National Scouting Report (NSR). He and his team will be around all day Saturday to provide metrics testing for FREE to all players interested. The NSR team will also be available to meet with families and offer valuable sights into insight into the recruiting process for playing at the collegiate level.
