MEDICATION SALES & PRESCRIPTION CALCULATOR
To assist in calculating how much to charge patients for items such as bandages, painkillers, oxy, etc. We've created a handy calculator (thanks to an idea submitted by one of our staff members; Atramors Adrastea). This calculator can be used for sales of up to four different types of medical items, with only a few edits needed it will then calculate how much to charge the patient/customer.
CALCULATOR USE - To use the calculator; select the medication being sold/prescribed from the drop-down under 'CHOOSE MEDICATION FROM THE LIST' (where there is a little arrow to indicate options). After selecting the type of medication, edit the box to the right of the medication name 'NUMBER SOLD OR PRESCRIBED' column, and add the number being sold/prescribed. In the above example, the patient is being prescribed a wheelchair and five (5) oxy. The total cost for the prescription is displayed in the box next to 'TOTAL COST', $8750.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - The important information displayed next to the number of each item will change depending on the medication, or item you select in the first box. The notes here will include who can prescribe/sell each type of information, if a prescription is needed, and any guidelines about maximum dosage.
If you have any problems using this calculator, or any suggestions on how to improve it, please let one of High Command, or Command know, they will happily listen and take your ideas on board.

EMS PATIENT FEE CALCULATOR
For EMS Staff members who decide to charge patients for any medical care or treatments they provide, we've created a handy calculator (thanks to an idea submitted by one of our staff members; Atramors Adrastea). This calculator, with only a few edits needed, will then calculate how much to charge the patient.
CALCULATOR USE - To use the calculator; select the main service being provided under the 'SERVICE PROVIDED' (where there is a little arrow to indicate options). The calculator will only allow the selection of one option as these are not stackable. After selecting this, choose any 'ADDITIONAL COSTS' by ticking the appropriate boxes. In the above example the patient was bleeding out, but also needed surgery, the total cost for the treatment is shown next to 'TOTAL TO CHARGE', $1500.
If you have any problems using this calculator, or any suggestions on how to improve it, please let one of High Command, or Command know, they will happily listen and take your ideas on board.
