FORMAT
The conference is in a hybrid format – both for presenters and attendees. One half of the papers will be delivered in person from the venue at the University of Exeter, and the other half will presented remotely and beamed into the venue! Correspondingly, all the presentations will be streamed online for remote attendees.
The conference takes place over three days and will be organised into themed panels across parallel tracks. Some of the themed panels will be part of two special panels series from the Shame and Medicine research project and the Imagining Technologies for Disability Futures (itDf) research project.
Speaker presentations will be 20 minutes and with time after each paper for Q&As.
Keynote presentations span the parallel tracks. Presentations will be around 45 minutes with time after each paper for Q&As.
Written versions of the presentations will be made available to attendees who need them during the event to contribute toward accessibility and inclusion.
Speakers and keynotes can - at their discretion - have the audio of their papers recorded to be considered for future release as part of the BSP Podcast.
