CREATING ACCESSIBLE SLIDESHOWS

If you are using powerpoint/slides, please consider the following guidelines to make your presentation is as accessible as possible:

• ensure a good contrast between text colours and background colours (e.g. black text on off-white/ light grey background, white text on dark blue background, avoid white backgrounds due to glare)

• use large type sizes and keep the type face simple (e.g. Arial, Calibri, Century Gothic, Helvetica, Tahoma or Verdana, and minimum 18-point font size)

• please include your pronouns alongside name and affiliation in your title slide
