Cornelia Lawson is an Associate Professor in Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy and a member of the Manchester Institute of Innovation Research (MIOIR). Her research investigates the performance and career paths of researchers and inventors, as well as inter-organizational and inter-sectoral research collaboration and knowledge transfer. At present, she is working on projects that look at open innovation in science, gender biases and diversity in science, research funding decision-making, and the impact of AI on science.
Michele received his Ph.D. in Economics and Technology Management from the University of Bergamo. Currently, he holds the position of associate professor at the University of Nice, serving as a research fellow at ICRIOS, Bocconi University, and BRICK, Collegio Carlo Alberto. Previously, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Chair of Economics and Management of Innovation at EPFL, Bicocca University, and the University of Brescia. His current research interests revolve around innovation and the economics of science.
