Chartered in 1921 to St. Roch Catholic Church in the Skinker & DeBaliviere neighborhood of St. Louis, MO, Troop 98 has been one of the most storied and successful Boy Scout Troops in the area.
Today, Troop 98 has about 13 active scouts, as well as a feeder pack, Pack 3098. Scouts work on advancement and merit badges, and attend summer camp, usually at Camp Famous Eagle or Camp Gamble, which are located at S Bar F Scout Ranch near Farmington, MO. Generally, Troop 98 goes to one of the high adventure camps every other summer. Many of Troop 98's scouts go on to become Eagle Scouts.
We have meetings every Wednesday 7:30-9:00p.m. (See Calendar for exceptions). Come out to see our scouts in action! Contact Scoutmaster Paul Winter at paul@krispaulw.com for more information. Drop-ins are welcome.
Since our charter in 1921, the Monsignors of St. Roch Church have kindly let us use their facilities. We are lucky enough to have access to the gym for our meetings and we even have our own Troop Room for all the equipment that we need. Thank you St. Roch!
