Brynn Scarlet

Brynn Scarlet is an 18 year old musician located in Grants Pass, Oregon. She is currently attending Belmont University in order to major in Music Business with an emphasis in Audio Engineering Technology. She has a wide variety of musical abilities such as being able to play the piano, clarinet, guitar, and ukelele; however, her most notable skills include her ability to sing in many different genres with many different advanced techniques as well as her ability to write creative and unique songs in several styles, tempos, and genres. She has also recently begun to learn how to produce music. She is extremely passionate about music and what it can do for the world. She plans to go as far as possible in the music industry and will spend her life putting all of her efforts into it—more details regarding her plans can be found in the "goals" section.

Brynn has been singing for as long as she could remember, but she began performing in more professional settings when she was around five years old. She enjoyed what she did during these experiences, but with little opportunity to sing outside of small school events, she had to begin practicing on her own. She spent many years singing and writing songs at home and performing in occasional talent shows and events around her hometown. Then, at the age of twelve she began taking guitar lessons. This changed everything for her. 

Once she began learning guitar, her ability to write music grew astronomically. She came up with new song lyrics and small melodies almost everyday, leading her to start understanding music in much more in-depth way. In 2020, between her 8th and 9th grade year, Brynn began regularly posting on YouTube and started to put more of her talents in music out into the world. She absolutely loved singing for other people and hearing what feedback other had to give. Then, she took an online class with Berklee College of Music on songwriting. Because of the opportunity, she was able to learn better structures and chord progressions
