Service & Outreach

I am active in outreach, mentoring, and service within the mathematics community, and have experience with both undergraduate and graduate students.

Lately, I have become interested in efforts to increase collaboration between community college math departments and those at nearby 4-year institutions. I'm also interested in initiatives to support math students from low income and rural communities. If you share similar interests, feel free to reach out!

UC Irvine

I served on the UCI Mathematics Excellence Committee and helped organize a few seminars.

I co-authored a proposal for a Mathematics Graduate Student Advisory Committee (MGAC) with Anna Cusenza modeled on those at peer institutions. The MGAC exists to strengthen communication between the UCI Mathematics Department and its graduate students, as well as to provide a student-led support channel. Inaugural elections were held during Spring 2026.
