Brush Studio Privacy Policy

Brush Studio ("the app") is made by Bharat Kalidindi ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app on iPhone and iPad.

The short version

We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Your artwork and settings stay on your device. The app has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet.

Information stored on your device

• Artwork and canvases: saved in the app's private storage on your device so you can continue where you left off.

• Preferences: brushes, colour palettes, recent colours, guides, rulers and gesture settings are saved on your device.

This information is never sent to us or anyone else. It is included in your device's own iCloud or computer backups if you have those turned on, under Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes this information.

Photos and files

• Saving to Photos: when you choose to save an image, the app asks for permission to add photos. It cannot read your photo library with this permission.

• Reference images: chosen with Apple's Photos picker, which gives the app only the image you select.

• Importing and exporting: 3D models, brush images and exported files go through Apple's file picker and share sheet. They go only where you send them.

Purchases

Brush Studio is sold as a one-time purchase on the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive your name, payment details or Apple ID. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA (California) give you rights to access, correct and delete personal data and to object to its use. Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Everything the app stores is on your device and is removed when you delete the app. We do not sell or share personal information.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data, we collect none from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
