Bruce Grade 7 Raffle to Mars

🚀 WIN BIG AT THE SCHOOL BBQ! 🚀 

We’re excited to host a special raffle in support of the Grade 7 Moving Forward Ceremony to support PAC-approved Grade 7 year-end activities and student experiences, in accordance with applicable gaming licence requirements.

Raffle tickets will be available on the BBQ pre-order form and for purchase at the School BBQ. Tickets are $5 each, with 1,000 tickets available.

The draw will take place on:

Monday, June 15, 2026 at 6:00 PM
Location:  In the music room at Graham Bruce Elementary School | 3633 Tanner Street Vancouver, BC V5R 5P7
BC Gaming Event Licence: #174057

Prizes will be drawn in reverse order, with the grand prize drawn last.

Grand Prize: Two tickets to see Bruno Mars in concert on Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Fair Market Value: $407.70

Additional prizes include:

2nd Prize: Two tickets to Fright Nights 2026 at Playland
Approx. Fair Market Value: $130

3rd Prize: Two Playland 2026 Season Ride Thrill Passes
Approx. Fair Market Value: $115

4th Prize: Two tickets to a BC Lions game during the 2026–27 season
Approx. Fair Market Value: $100

5th Prize: Richmond Night Market 2026 Zoom Pass
Approx. Fair Market Value: $40

🎟️ Ticket & Draw Information 

Raffle tickets are $5 each and are available while supplies last. A total of 1,000 tickets will be printed and sold.

Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or trustee.

Winners consent to the release of their name as required by the licence. Winners will be contacted using the information provided on the ticket stub.

All proceeds from the raffle will support the Grade 7 Moving Forward Ceremony and year-end student activities, in accordance with applicable gaming licence requirements.

Join Us for the 2026 Graham Bruce End of Year BBQ

Come together for an afternoon of food, fun, fundraising, and community connection at our upcoming School BBQ!

Families are invited to join us for a lively school gathering featuring games, a silent auction, raffle prizes, food, and more — all in support of our school community and Grade 7 year-end activities.

Students and families can enjoy fun games and activities throughout the event. It’s a great chance for kids to play, connect, and celebrate the end of the school year together.

Our silent auction will feature themed gift baskets and donated items from our school community. Families are invited to browse, bid, and support a great cause.

May 1 Bruce PAC Movie Night

Thank you so much to both the Graham Bruce School Community and the Collingwood Neighbourhood House School community for attending our first movie night! 🍿🎥 Clearly it's been a (LONG) while since our last movie night and you all made it a HUGE success!

A big shout out to our community partner Collingwood Community Policing Centre for providing the movie and the wonderful team of volunteers! We got to enjoy Adventures of Tin Tin. We can't wait for the next movie night!  

Also, congratulations to our Collingwood Parent winnner on the fun Silent Auction Item, Rocio! Proceeds going towards the Grade 7 Moving Ceremony/Students.

Hello, New and Returning 2023/2024 Students!

👋 Welcome aboard to all new Graham Bruce students! Also, welcome back to all returning students! We are so happy to see all of your bright and smiling faces at school!

We'd also like to give a big warm welcome to our new school Principal, Ms. Armin Samiei and new staff members: 

• Ms. Sonia Khallar who is covering for Ms. Kelly Lee and working on Thursdays and Fridays in Division 9 – Gr. 2/3, job sharing with Ms. Holden

• Ms. Melanie Mazariegos, who is covering for Ms. Stephanie Roberts and will teach in Division 3 – Gr. 6/7

• Ms. Rowena Abad, Student and School Support Staff

• Mr. Neil Hundevad, Student and School Support Staff 

Our PAC team gets together once a month to work together to responsibily budget, brainstorm, plan and execute projects that enrich the student experience and community life. Come join us at our 1st PAC meeting (online), Monday, September 25, from 6:45pm to 7:45pm. (Note: meetings may vary between online and in-person). June 16th BBQ was a huge success!

We hope everyone had a great time at the BBQ on June 16! We really appreciate the support, whether you dedicated time to volunteer or simply enjoyed food and games with your kids at the BBQ. 

A special thanks to all of the parents who volunteered with the set up, food stand, grill, concession, silent auction table, and more - Adriano, Alex, Amanda, Bill, Christina, Claudia, Dale, Dannella, David, Ewa, Joann, Karen, Mandy, Marcelina, Melanie, Regina, Ruta, Sean, Sonya, Suresh, and Tyler.  This event would not be possible without you!

And a big thanks to the many, many parents who also helped with clean up at the end of the day!

And of course, thanks to Ms. Karen, our school principal, for all she has done for the school, including picking up the new PAC/school sound system, just in time for Sports Day and the BBQ.

Finally, a special thanks toall  to Save on Foods and Superstore for providing the food for our event. We really appreciate their contribution. To all of our sponsors, thank you for your support. We truly appreciate you.
