The Hellenbeck Heritage Railway is a beautiful and highly detailed heritage railway network set in the South East of England. With roughly 30 miles of track, the network has plenty to offer - and not just the heritage railway. Below is a summary of what's included:
A main heritage line (about 15 miles long) between the upmarket town of Hayed City and the town of Weston Ends, the former destination of cross-channel ferries.
A heritage branch line running around 5 miles north from Weston Ends through the small village of Royal Hallifield and up to Highville.
A 5 mile stretch of Southern main line, running from Freeman Street in the north to Fretwell Junction in the south, meeting the heritage railway in Hayed City and with a short branch to the dark and dingy Hayed City Low Level station. Also included is the small Fretwell Depot which caters to light maintenance of Class 171s.
A separate narrow gauge railway meeting the heritage line at Markswood, running through the beautiful countryside down to Stone Circle and the rarely used Samson Beach halt.
Note that distances are an estimate; the actual lengths for each section may be shorter or longer than displayed here.
With lore for the route, we'll also be providing a brochure about the history of the line and the stock list for the Hellenbeck Heritage Railway and the Herald Gate Narrow Gauge Railway. You'll also get custom assets for the route and a series of scenarios to explore the route with. The route has been in development since 2021, originally as a commission, but has slowly evolved and expanded in scope, becoming the route we are proud to show today.
Watch the video below for a preview of the route: (Note that the video was recorded using an older version of the route, so some scenery and information will not represent how the route is at this point in development)
This aims to be the final version of The Pontypandy Railway in the modern era. Compared to the original version, our most popular pack when it was released, the new version is a heavy update of scenery, trackwork and signalling. Other improvements include:
Replacing the overly long tunnel section with a countryside area with two new villages, Strawberry Lane and Elmsdon.
Completely rebuilding the Balamory area to have a large town and a bypass line meaning trains don't need to go down the slow tram route.
Replacement of Pontypandy Head with a pier, accessed via a tramway in Upper Pontypandy.
A museum and carriage sidings near Pontypandy.
An upgraded Greendale Sheds facility.
A complete lore book for the route, documenting its history from construction to the present day. (Coming soon)
This route comes with one scenario, a free roam scenario featuring all of the stock owned by the Pontypandy Railway.

Flashing Images:
West of Balamory Town is a bridge with a series of coloured lights. These create a beautiful rainbow pattern when crossing at night, but may be problematic for those who react negatively to flashing images in limited scenarios. For those affected, you may want to avoid driving this part of the route at night, or you may want to delete the light sources in the editor.
