The PTO has been presented with a grant proposal for a 3D printer. We would like to open up a "discussion" by fielding questions and comments from the general PTO membership (that would be YOU!). Name of Grant: High-quality 3D printing for hopeful mini golf at the end of the year picnic

Total Number of Students Impacted: 50 tech team students plus my third grade class with the idea of expanding the usage after this year and /or getting a second printer if warranted next year

Details of the Request: After a few years of borrowing a 3D printer from the RESA that is not too finicky and loud this printer has great reviews for high volume use and self maintaining features such as self leveling. We have a large number of students interested in Tech Team this year and I want to give them an opportunity that is amazing and that the whole school might be able to benefit from at the end of the year. I cannot promise as this would be a pilot project, but I would like the students to create a mini golf course for the school picnic.
