BUCKS FOR BROWN is a two week fundraiser ending with a Fun Run on October 4th, 2024 and is Brown School’s ONLY large fundraiser. We do this instead of traditional catalog fundraisers which allows parents and our local business community to donate directly to the Brown School PTO. This money provides additional opportunities for our students and teachers such as additional books for our Media Center, field trips, popcorn days, spelling bee, Science Olympiad, playground activities, teacher grants, LEGO and science nights and so much more! The goal is to raise enough funds to support the PTO annual budget, this translates into approximately $50 per student in donations.
As our fundraising winds down, we will celebrate as a school at our Bucks for Brown Celebration Fun Run.

YES. We are requesting that all donations be collected, placed in the attached envelope and returned to school by October 4th. Of course we will gladly receive donations after this date, simply send it to the office clearly marked with your students name, teacher and note ‘BUCKS FOR BROWN’.
What are the options for donating?

Personal Donations via cash, check (made out to SJPS with ‘Bucks for Brown’ in the memo line) or online using RevTrak (Brown Elementary - Fundraisers). All personal donation will be considered non-tax deductible, if you would like to have your donation eligible for tax deduction, please email bucks4brown@gmail.com and you will receive a letter of receipt. Student forms are available here.
Business or Corporate Donations of any amount via cash, check (made out to SJPS with ‘Bucks for Brown’ in the memo line) or online using RevTrak (Brown Elementary - Fundraisers). All corporate donations are eligible to be tax-deductible and a letter of receipt will be sent.

* For each class with 100% donation participation - Students will have all names in class put into a drawing for a prize. (One prize per classroom)
* Goal Incentives - The school will earn the following incentives when we reach these fundraising goals:
$5,000 - Wacky Hair day! Principal Hernandez paints his face as a bear and ha wacky hair. Students come with your craziest hair style!
$10,000 - Principal Hernandez performs a TikTok dance and students get a dance party!
$15,000 - Principal Hernandez works in a bear costume and throws candy. Students wear bear wear.
$20,000 - Principal Hernandez gets sprayed with silly string. Students wear their silliest outfits.
$28,000 - Principal Hernandez does the Hot Wing Challenge while answering questions chosen by the students. Students all get spicy candy.
