Dear Gear Makers,

The Brooklyn Synth & Pedal Expo is returning on October 18–19, and I’m writing to share some important updates to this year’s format.

We'll try something new as a part of an ongoing effort to improve our events and make them more accessible, particularly for small and independent builders, whose presence brings energy, originality, and variety to the show.

We’ll be evaluating these changes based on your feedback and the event’s performance, with the option to refine or revert for 2026.

WHAT’S NEW IN 2025

Modest Entry Fee = Major Exhibitor Discounts (Up to 55%)

At this year's Brooklyn show, we’re introducing a small ticket at the door (between $5 and $10 + fees), with all proceeds reinvested into making exhibitor participation more affordable — including a general 5% rate reduction (despite rising production costs) and a series of targeted discounts for first-time exhibitors, small teams, and boutique brands launching new products.

The entry fee will also help attract a more engaged and genuinely interested audience.

The 2025 rate sheet reflects a general 5% reduction compared to 2024 exhibitor fees. When factoring in increased venue rent and advertising costs — which would have justified an 8% price hike — this actually amounts to a real-world savings of about 13% for exhibitors.
