My family is my most powerful support system; I love them so much! Since I'm the only child, I often hang out with my mom (left) and aunt (right) because they're just like me. Almost every Friday, my aunt comes to my house, and we'll watch youtube videos, play board games, and talk. My other family members are also just as prominent in my life, and I'm so thankful for all of them because they make me stronger and give me more love and support than I could ever imagine. 

For the longest time, fall has been my favorite season. I love the weather, the vibe, and, most importantly, the holidays. But do you know what season is better than fall? CAMPAIGN SEASON!!! This summer, I went on a campaign for U.S. Representative Andy Levin with my friend Joele. I got to learn so much about campaigns and meet some really cool politicians like Bernie Sanders, Mark Pocan, and Elizabeth Warren! 

My friends are a huge part of my life. They're always here for me when I need them and challenge me to improve myself.  My best friend Raghad is one of my closest friends, and I love her. She always helps me when I need it, and we have a great time when we're together. Make sure you have a friend like Raghad!

One of my favorite moments of 2022 was getting the chance to see Vice President Kamala Harris! I went with an organization I work for and some friends. Hearing her and other politicians speak about our democracy was so inspiring, and it is a memory that I will never forget. And the best part was when I got to shake VP Harris' hand at the end!

Living in Michigan might seem boring, but there are many things to do in the Metro Detroit area. My favorite restaurant to go to is called Lao Pot, a hot pot restaurant. My friend Joele and I have gone there a couple of times, and the food is always good, and it's so fun cooking it ourselves. Usually, when I try new things in the area, I go with Joele. Joele is one of my closest friends, and I can always count on her to cheer me up or go on an adventure with me. I love her so much!!

Music is a massive part of my life, and you'll frequently find me listening to new songs or making a new playlist. Since I love music, I also love going to concerts! Some of the concerts I've gone to include; Tyler the creator, Giveon, Taylor Swift, and Lorde. This picture was taken at the SZA concert in Detroit. I had an enjoyable time with my friends, and seeing SZA made me a fangirl.
