Don Leka

Don has lived in Brookline since 1996.  A graduate of Yale and Harvard Law School, he served in senior counsel positions with Gillette and Teradyne.  Don has 10 years’ experience as a Town Meeting member.  During those years he supported The Green Caucus, the Green Space Alliance, and Brookline By Design.  He was a member of the Steering Committee of the successful “No on Q1” campaign that defeated an effort to link approval of the popular Driscoll School renovation with the Baldwin 9th school project. He is committed to ensuring the future vitality of Brookline neighborhoods through thoughtful planning based on shared vision and values.  In his off hours he is a chamber musician and keyboardist with the Washington Square Jazz Ensemble.
