# Bronzely Privacy Policy

Bronzely ("the App") is developed by Dana ("we," "us," "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
## The Short Version
Bronzely does not collect, store on any server, sell, or share your personal information. Everything you enter — your skin profile, your progress photos, your depth ratings — stays stored locally on your own device.
## Information We Do Not Collect
Bronzely does not have its own servers or backend. Specifically, we do not collect, transmit, or have access to:
- Your skin profile answers (undertone, skin type, desired tan depth, lifestyle habits)
- Your progress photos or depth ratings
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your location
- Any analytics or usage tracking data
All of this data is stored using Apple's on-device SwiftData storage and never leaves your phone unless you choose to delete the app or your device's backup includes it (see "Backups," below).
## Notifications
Bronzely uses Apple's local notification system to remind you to prepare for and reapply your self-tanner. These reminders are scheduled entirely on your device — no data about your schedule or habits is sent anywhere.
## Camera and Photos
If you choose to log a progress photo, Bronzely asks for permission to use your camera or photo library, per Apple's standard permission prompts. Any photo you save in Bronzely is stored only on your device and is never uploaded, shared, or transmitted by the App.
## Subscriptions and Payment
Bronzely offers an optional subscription (Bronzely Plus) through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). All payment processing is handled directly by Apple — Bronzely never receives or stores your payment details (such as card numbers). ## Backups
If you use iCloud Backup or a similar device backup service, your Bronzely data may be included in that backup as part of your device's overall backup, subject to your own backup provider's privacy practices (for example, Apple's iCloud privacy policy). Bronzely itself does not initiate or control this.
## Children's Privacy
Bronzely is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children, in keeping with the fact that it does not collect personal information from anyone.
## Changes to This Policy
If Bronzely's data practices change in the future (for example, if a future update adds optional analytics or account sync), we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above before that change takes effect.
