The uniform is one of the methods of delivering the Scouting program. In addition to creating a sense of belonging, the uniform gives a Scout the ability to display their personal achievements.
The Pack 162 Uniform: All Pack 162 scouts wear their “Class A” uniform to meetings and various events. The “Class B” tee shirt is worn for some warm weather activities and summer camping. Each scout is responsible for purchasing the uniform.
The total cost of the uniform should be less than ~$90 for Cub Scouts and ~$100 for Webelos for just the required items on the checklist below. We ask that each scout have their uniform within a month of joining the Pack.

ITEMS YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY: the following are also listed on the official uniform site but only add to the cost and are not necessary for our scouts to wear SO PLEASE DON'T FEEL OBLIGATED TO PURCHASE THESE: scout pants, scout rank cap, scout socks, scout belt. Scouts can wear any comfortable pair of pants they already have.
