Should you arrive without the required current vaccinations, we will have no choice but to insist that you take your pet directly to the veterinarian to receive the current vaccinations. In case the vaccination expired during extended stay , We will take your pet to the vet. A minimum charge of $50 plus the vet bill for this service.

Vaccinations required for your pet:

Medication

Any/all medication required for your pet must be handed over to the Kennel at boarding arrival. It is always a good idea to supply extra medication. Medication (oral administration) $2 per application. Ear and Eye Medication $2 per application. Daily Diabetic Care $ 10 per day including injections. Meds outside our hours $ 10 per application. Any Medication requiring 2 people, additional charges apply outside the regular meds charges.  For the health of your  pet we strongly recommend your cat or dog stay on their own dry food.

Medications should be labelled with your pet’s name, name of drug and amount to be administered. We will administer the medication at no extra charge. Also, please inform us of any medical conditions such as allergies, arthritis, tumors, etc .

Please note that while Bronte Pet Resort inc. will administer the medications as required, we do not maintain that its staff has been specifically trained to treat your pet’s medical condition. If you have any concerns about your pet’s condition, you should board your pet with a veterinarian or animal hospital where your pet can be treated by medically trained professionals.

Important for Us to Know

Please inform the staff if your pet has or is experiencing any of the following problems: seizures, heart murmurs, eye or ear infections, bleeding, diarrhea, arthritis, allergies, hip dysplasia, tumors, constipation, or anything else we should be made aware of.

Medical Attention

We have established relationships with many veterinarian practices and communicate with them often. Should your pet require emergency veterinary care during their stay with us, we will take them to your veterinarian (within reasonable driving distance). Although we prefer to use your vet because they are familiar with your pet’s medical history, if this is not possible, we will use our own vet. There will be a charge for our time for taking your family member for medical treatment. Furthermore, if we are required to pay the veterinarian bill on your behalf, we will add this amount to your boarding invoice.

Feeding

Please make us aware of your animal’s feeding schedule as maintaining this will assist in making your pet’s stay more comfortable. We suggest that you bring the food that your pet currently consumes to avoid him or her from becoming sick or upset.

Special diets are no problem as we have a refrigerator and freezer for clients who serve raw food. Please bring your food in a labeled container with enough food for your pets entire stay.
