Brodie Bear Bouncy Castle Hire Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions for bouncy castle hire are there to ensure children have fun and keep them safe. Please read below before hiring from us, we will have a Hire Agreement form where you will need to sign to agree to everything below.

• It is the person hiring the bouncy castle that is responsible for taking precautions to ensure the safety of children using it and avoid all damages.

• A responsible adult must be present at all times to supervise the use of the bouncy castle.

• Always ensure bouncy castle is not overcrowded by limiting numbers according to the age and size of the children. 

• Nobody that is taller than the walls of the bouncy castle are permitted to use it 

• Do not allow any food or drinks on the bouncy castle to avoid risk of choking and to prevent mess.

• All footwear, glasses, jewellery and any other loose objects that could cause harm to children or damage the bouncy castle must be removed before use.

• No face paints, party poppers, streamers or silly string to be used on or near the bouncy castle.

• No smoking, vaping, sparklers, barbeques to be used on or near the bouncy castle.

• No pets allowed on or near the bouncy castle.

• Do not let anyone climb, hang or sit on the walls or beams of the bouncy castle to avoid injury.

• The safety step at the front is to be used to assist getting on/off of the bouncy castle, please encourage children not to bounce on this part.

• Anyone with a history of back or neck problems are advised to not use the bouncy castle.

• When the bouncy castle is not in use please switch off at the mains.

• Do not allow anyone on the bouncy castle while it is being inflated or deflated.

• Please make people aware of the sandbags around the bouncy castle as well as making the space behind the bouncy castle out of bounds to children.

• The bouncy castle should not be used if wet on the jumping area.

• If the equipment fails for any reason please ensure everyone gets off straight away and then contact us as soon as possible.

• No unauthorised person should move the bouncy castle or tamper with eletrical equipment.

• The bouncy castle is expected to be returned in the condition you got it e.g. clean and undamaged. If there is significant mess or damage to the bouncy castle on our return the person hiring the bouncy castle will be expected to pay an additional cleaning fee.

• We are insured with public liability insurance against the failure of our equipment, any claim is subject to an excess in which the person hiring would be liable for.

Brodie Bear Bouncy Castle and Event Hire cannot accept any responsibility of any injuries or loss sustained to anyone through the use of our equipment.
