Performance and Communications Coordinator
Julie began dancing at an early age, training in ballet, modern, jazz, and tap. Dance was an important part of family life growing up, and it fostered a lifelong love of movement and performance.
After raising her children, Julie rediscovered her passion for dance in San Luis Obispo, California. Reflecting on her return, she says, "Learning to dance again was one of the best decisions I ever made—it has been such a wonderful use of my time!"
A few months ago, Julie joined our ballroom dance classes with a friend and quickly became an enthusiastic member of the program. She found the classes enjoyable, enriching, and a wonderful way to connect with others in the community.
Julie also proved to be a natural ambassador for our program. She enthusiastically shared her love of ballroom dancing with others and took the initiative to seek out performance and community event opportunities for the group. In recognition of her dedication, leadership, and communication skills, we promoted Julie to Performance and Communications Coordinator, where she helps organize performance opportunities while welcoming and connecting with dancers throughout our community.
