Fess Parker is perhaps better known in Santa Barbara for his long history in the wine business than for his iconic role as Davy Crockett, and Fess Parker was a giant in both industries. The development of Santa Barbara, Santa Rita and Santa Ynez would not have happened if it weren’t for his vision and drive. We are excited to show off some of the diversity of the AVA through a dinner featuring some of the amazing wine varietals typical of the area, presented by wine expert Kate Strosahl-Johnson from PureWine.
