Sapphire Lynn Johnson is an English and Creative Writing major, and this is her first year as EIC. Broadside was the first organization she applied to in her freshman year because she longed to read and promote the writing of her peers. In her free time, Sapphire enjoys crafting romantic stories that celebrate marginalized groups and identities. After graduation, she will be working at a bookstore in Atlanta in hopes of finding an opportunity in the publishing world, preferably in fiction editing, while trying to publish her debut novel.

Emma Aleccia is a Senior English Literary Studies major with a minor in Interdisciplinary Film Studies. She joined Broadside as a Prose Evaluator her freshman year. As EIC this year, she is delighted to see the creative works of Bradley University students and help them become published. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading/listening to fantasy and romance books and dabbling in writing her own story. After graduation, she plans to venture into the world of publishing to help other authors publish their works.
