Tanya was a rescue dog who found her forever home with the Jeffersons after being saved from a shelter at the age of two. Despite her difficult start, Tanya’s heart was filled with love and resilience.

She adored her human brother, Nate, and became his running partner during marathon training. Tanya had a gift for sensing emotions – always leaning into family members when they needed comfort.

Her favorite pastime was lying in the sun by the front porch, basking in the warmth and the love of her family. In her honor, the Jeffersons donate yearly to animal rescue organizations.
