The Horse Center

Welcome to Briones Horse Center! Here on the property there are fifty stalls for horses, a Free use pasture, An arena and Round Pen, Tack rooms with individual lockers, Grain room, and Trailer parking.

This is the map of the property. It is labeled so you can find your way around easily.


There are two ways to exit the Horse Center to ride your horse in the park, the park entrance and the main entrance.

Round Pen

This arena is a lighted, sand-based ring that is great for running your horse around or for children's lessons. It is located on the right as you come into the property. It is 70' across the area.

Main Arena

This arena is big, very well lit, sand-covered arena that is perfect for riding in or taking lessons in. It is located in the front of the property. It is 85' x 165' big.

Stalls

All the stalls and runs are covered and under the barn. All stalls include access to the pasture year round. Each stall can only have one horse in it. The stalls are cleaned 6 days a week, all days except for Sunday. The stalls always have 3/4" heavy-duty rubber mats and have shavings on top. With the stalls, the horses will be fed twice-a-day (hay and/or alfalfa), have an automatic waterer, cleaning, and shavings.

Without Run

The stalls are 12' x 12'.

With Run

These stalls are 12' x 12' with the additional 12' x 12' for the runs.

Wash Racks

The Wash Racks are located on the end of the stall rows and are available for anyone to use. You can store your brushes, sponges, etc. in your tack locker or in your tack box. If your horse has any droppings, please clean them up using the rake that is there.

Tack Room and Lockers

With the Tack Rooms, every boarder gets their own individual locker and saddle rack. There are two tack rooms and it coordinates to what side of the barn you are on.

Pasture Turn-Outs

The pasture is made up of 9, two horse pastures, and one main turn-out area. It has automatic waterers and are cleaned bi-weekly.

Grain Room

The Grain Room is located next to the manure bin and is where you can securely store your grain. It is well ventilated and has lights. The grain should be kept in a rodent proof container.

Trailer Parking

The Trailer Parking is not crowded and has easy access to enter and leave.

Bathroom

The Bathroom is a fully operational bathroom with hot and cold running (City) water.

Ranch Hand

The Ranch Hand lives on the property and is on the property 24/7. This is to ensure that we have as much security and our grounds are always safe and clean. His name is Carlos, don't be afraid to say "Hi".

Shoer Area

Separated off to the side, the Shoer Area is a covered structure dedicated to Horse Shoeing. It has electrical power, lights, and rubber mats.
