Student Tracking

INBRE programs are required to track the career paths of its undergraduate research fellows for at least 5 years after they complete the research experience. SD-INBRE tracks fellows by word of mouth through institutional liaisons and by access to the National Student Clearinghouse database of all students enrolled in higher education. In addition, SD-INBRE solicits personal e-mail addresses from the fellows so that it can contact them if/when their institutional e-mail addresses have lapsed.
