Dr. Sofwan Noerwidi (Indonesia)
Bio:
Dr. Sofwan Noerwidi works at BRIN as the head of the archaeometry research centre. He completed his bachelor's degree in Archaeology at Gadjah Mada University in 2003. He then continued his studies at the MNHN in France in 2012 and finally completed his doctorate at the MNHN-Sorbonne Paris, France and URV Tarragona Spain in 2020. He has conducted research at several sites in Java, namely Sangiran (since 2013), Patiayam (2006-2016), Semedo (since 2012), and Bumiayu (since 2014), as well as prehistoric research in the Southern Mountains, East Java, joint Indonesia-France research since 2007, prehistoric research in Harimau Cave, South Sumatra, and joint Indonesia-Japan research since 2012. Has attended international conferences including: Siem Reap (2014), Hue (2018), EurASEAA Dublin (2012), Paris (2015), ISDM-IAPO Bordeaux (2017) and UISPP Paris (2018).

Bio:
Dr. Krisztina Hoppál is an archaeologist and leader of the ELTE Roman World and the Far East Research Group, Eötvös Loránd University. Her main research interests are Sino-Roman relations, intercultural exchange in Antiquity, inter-imperial connections, long-distance trade, and archaeology of Southeast Asia and China.

Bio:
Melinda Pap is a sinologist at the Chinese Department of Eötvös Loránd University. She obtained her PhD in 2011, focusing on the Tiantai school of Chinese Buddhism. She translated and analysed the magnum opus of the eminent Tiantai monk, Zhanran. She teaches Chinese language, philosophy, and literature at the Chinese Department of ELTE since 2008, currently as a senior assistant professor.

Bio:
Harry Octavianus Sofian's research focuses on subjects of human migration, cultural and economic exchange. His primary focus is on the analysis of metals and glass beads, with a particular emphasis on their production and exchange. He completed a Bachelor's degree in Archaeology at Gadjah Mada University, followed by a Master's degree in Quaternary International Programmes at the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (MNHN) in Paris and Doctoral degree from Paris Nanterre University in France.

Putra Kama Jaya, currently working as a Technical Policy Reviewer at the Research Centre for Archaeometry BRIN. Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design, graduated in 2014 from Sebelas Maret University. Currently actively involved in digital archaeology activities. Dewangga Eka Mahardian, S.T. is a Junior Scientific Data Analyst at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). His research focuses on the fields of digital archaeology and spatial data analysis. His frequent research and conservation activities center on the application of 3D scanning technology, airborne LiDAR, photogrammetry, GIS, remote sensing and spatial analysis related to archaeological sites in Indonesia.
