This course is an introduction to the critical thinking skills and problem solving strategies required for success in the AMC10 and AIME. The topics taught would be geared towards AMC10 and AIME but would also be useful for other math competitions. This is an intensive class to get students be prepared for the upcoming math competition season.
The format of the class will be 1.5 hour long lecture followed by a 30 minute problem session. Students will be given a set of problems, with different problems being worth a different amount of points.
