Prerequisites

Students should have a solid understanding of the AoPS Prealgebra book, and be comfortable with the material in the 4 AoPS Introduction books. Students who have taken our course last year are also ready for our class. This course is recommended for students from 6th grade to 9th grade.

Times (Subject to change)

7/18/22 - 7/22/22 Monday – Friday

Lecture: 3:00PM to 4:20PM

Problem Session: 4:30PM to 5:00PM

Class Format

The format of the class will be 1.5 hour long lecture followed by a 30 minute problem session. Students will be given a set of problems, with different problems being worth a different amount of points. As class homework, students must solve at least a certain amount of points worth of problems. Students are encouraged to solve as many problems as possible, with the students with the most points earned getting prizes.
