Vail Centre was an educational startup designed to bring higher education to the Vail valley.
Initially, we photographed a who’s-who of local personalities and visiting speakers at a series of workshops. These appeared in the local press and social media.
As attendance and reach grew, we earned an invitation to create their investor pitch book. We worked with their board of directors and executive team to turn volumes of notes into concise copy anchored by a compelling, on-brand visual design.
The book was presented to potential investors over drinks at an annual award gala, which was positioned as a new Vail tradition. We photographed the event, award winners and their families.
The following year we produced and screened a series of short biographical documentaries celebrating the recipients, culminating in an emotional finale as the room stood to applaud the figures shaping the past, present and future of their community.
On a day-to-day basis we created a coordinated series of display ads and campus flyers driving attendance, which were taught and accredited by Duke University, Cornell, the University of Denver and others. We also documented the courses with publicity photos, student testimonials and graduation portraits.
