Bright Hills Academy is built on a strong foundation of dedicated leadership, professional management, and community involvement, all working together to provide quality early childhood education to underserved children.
At the governance level, the academy is guided by an Advisory Committee composed of a Community Leader, Mukaramyimana Marie Gorette; a Parent Representative, Mushimiyimana Oda Beni Joie; and an Education Advisor, Manzi Tite. This committee plays a key role in providing strategic direction, strengthening accountability, and ensuring that both community perspectives and educational quality are fully reflected in the academy’s growth and decision-making processes.
At the leadership and management level, the Director, Milton Mwiseneza Bernard, provides overall leadership, vision, and partnership development, ensuring that the academy remains aligned with its mission and long-term goals. Supporting this role, Musabyimana Jean Paul serves as Project Coordinator, leading strategic planning, fundraising efforts, project implementation, and monitoring and evaluation to ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes. The Founder and School Bursar , Nyiransengimana Françoise, oversees financial management, including budgeting, reporting, and accountability, ensuring transparency and responsible use of resources.
At the academic level, the Head Teacher, Dukuze Shallon, leads curriculum implementation, supervises teaching staff, and ensures high academic standards are maintained. She works closely with a committed teaching team that includes Liliane Butumwa and Byishimo Sarah, all of whom are directly engaged in classroom instruction and the holistic development of children in a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
In addition, the academy is supported by essential staff who contribute to a safe and child-friendly environment. Kwizera Olivier serves as the Security Guard, ensuring the safety of the school premises, particularly during the night. Uwineza Florence is responsible for hygiene and kitchen management, preparing nutritious meals and maintaining cleanliness to support the health and well-being of the children.
