My History
I graduated from Utah Valley University in the Spring of 2006 with my Bachelor’s Degree. I have three beautiful little girls, one handsome little boy, and a wonderful husband who I've been happily married to since 2002.
Just before I graduated, the preschool where I was teaching, was up for sale. Rather than acquiring a job in the school district, my husband and I decided to buy and operate the 4200 sq. ft. preschool! That way, I could choose my own hours, which would result in me being able to spend more time with my family!
So, we purchased the business in February of 2006, and devoted loads of our time into making it fabulous! We had Mommy-n-Me classes, preschool for ages 2-4, and even a private 5-day Kindergarten!
During my years of ownership, I re-wrote the curriculum to produce better results. Many of my students could recognize the alphabet letters by sight and sound by the end of their 3-year-old preschool year. Many could READ by the end of their 4-year-old preschool year!
After my husband graduated with his masters degree, we decided to move to Idaho for his new job. We sold the preschool and moved to Idaho in 2008. We love it here!
Shortly after moving in, I noticed the large number of preschool-aged children, and the small number of quality preschool programs. I also REALLY missed teaching, so I decided to open up my own small school. I've been teaching here ever since and have LOVED IT! I have been teaching and directing early childhood programs for almost 20 years now and it has been so rewarding and fun for me! :-)
My teacher to student ratio is only 10 STUDENTS per class which means I can give so much more one-on-one attention to each student! Just imagine what I’m going to be able to accomplish with such a small class!
