Is a fishing village several miles from Siem Reap on the Ton-le Sap lake. I rode as the only passenger In a tourist boat, out onto the lake and past the village on stilts. When the lake Is high, the boats of the fishermen are at the door, and when the lake Is low, as It was when I visited, the houses' stilts are revealed, and the fish "farms" can be seen.
We saw a family that lives on the lake In a floating dwelling, and then went Into the village to see the kids, and women arranging the fish for drying, and had lunch with a local woman. Fish head and fresh greens grown on the water. Unfortunately I got diarrhea a few hours later.
