The WG2/3 meeting will take place at MPIA, which is located on top of the Königstuhl, about 6 km outside the centre of Heidelberg.
From Heidelberg, MPIA is reachable:
By bus:
Bus 39, which runs every hour on the hour from Bismarckplatz (Platform G) to Sternwarte, taking approximately 40 mins
Bus 30 (Science Bus) from Peterskirche (in Aldstadt or Old Town) to MPIA, taking approximately 15 mins but only running at 08:32, 09:07, 10:02, 16:32 and 17:32.
By on-call taxi (after 20:00):
After 20:00, Rufftaxi 1007 replaces Bus 30 (Science Bus) as a taxi service which runs between Bismarckplatz and MPIA at 20:10, 21:10, 22:10, 23:10 and 00:10. Reservation is required at least 30 mins in advance at +49 621 1077077.
By furnicular (after 09:00):
The Bergbahn (Furnicular) service runs every 10 mins after 09:00 between Kornmarkt and Königstuhl, which is 15 mins walk from MPIA.

We recommend that you bring your own device with your contribution which can be plugged into the system in the room.

Arriving in Germany by air
The closest major airport is Frankfurt (FRA), with direct flights available from across and outside Europe. Heidelberg is reachable by direct train transfer (approximately 60 mins) from Frankfurt (M) Flughafen Franbf at Frankfurt Airport. Booking tickets in advance is possible at https://int.bahn.de/en or on the day at ticket machines at the train station. This is the recommended method of transfer as the train station is located next to the airport terminals.
Arriving in Germany by train
The closest major station is Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, reachable using ICE, IC, EC or S-bahn services. Further information is available at Travel Service Deutsche Bahn.
