What You Can Expect

Next Step Community Church offers a community breakfast every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8am-10:30am.

Volunteers are needed to help with:

• Preparing the food and packing the meals. This involves helping cook eggs, oatmeal, pancakes and warm up any proteins and bread that are included as part of the breakfast

• Distributing meals to the community members who come to eat

• Fellowshipping with the community members who come to eat - chatting, praying, and taking prayer requests

• Wiping down the chairs and tables and helping with post-breakfast clean-up

This is a great opportunity for you if...

• You have no prior experience

• You have weekday morning availability 

• You are passionate about helping with food insecurity in Brooklyn

• You are able to prepare and package food

• You are looking for an opportunity to sit, have conversations, and pray with people at the breakfast
