My name is Brian C. Steinberg. Currently, I am an adjunct instructor for a few online colleges and universities. I also teach face to face in the traditional campus classroom at a few colleges an universities in the Buffalo, NY area.
I teach online classes in all areas of geography (global,world, political, economic, human/cultural, and historical), sociology, environmental science, globalization, critical thinking, cultural diversity, and student success.
I also have proficient experience and competency in using WebCT, Blackboard, eCollege, Questa, Angel, Moodle, D2L, iBoard. eCampus, Canvas, and other Online Course Management Systems.
I have created and revised many online courses for different online colleges.
I have my PhD (ABD) from Capella University in the Leadership for Higher Education Program, Graduate Certificate in Diversity Studies from Capella University and have a Masters Degree in Postsecondary Education: Student Affairs and Geography from The University of Northern Iowa. My Bachelors Degree was in Earth Science and Geology from Central Michigan University.
I am currently working on a IMBA (focus on environmental sustainability and multicultural global business) at Southern New Hampshire University.
I have over 20 years experience in teaching, college administration, management, training, and advising at the college and university level. I also own my own diversity and multicultural education training and consulting firm called The Ally Group (http://www.theallygroup.net)
